Leisha Colyn

Leisha Colyn obtained her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Bowling Green State University. She has used the lens of evolutionary theory to examine the role of envy and social status in schadenfreude among friends, the determinants of social status among college students, and the impact of schadenfreude on attitudes toward the target of schadenfreude. Leisha currently works as an independent researcher and senior research analyst on projects related to memory, physical activity, cardiovascular disease, the ApoE gene, and employee experiences at work. In her spare time, she develops and implements behavioral interventions to improve wellbeing.
